The Vanishing Lines ruler has received a few improvements.
This update adds support for the new Photoshop 2022 release. The pressure wave scripts have also been updated to have a period parameter (instead of frequency), to match the basic pattern scripts and make it easier to setup. A couple other perspective ruler issues have been fixed, including better scripting support. Today's update fixes this, and warns the user if there is no possible match. The perspective match feature introduced in the previous update would sometimes fail to find a match, and send the center to infinity. Please read the change log for the full list of changes. This update addresses this issue, and fixes some other bugs. The Hide Cursor option wasn't working with Photoshop 2022. This update also adds Windows Ink support for the new Adobe version of Substance 3D Painter. These improvements will help you draw gears and other technical circular designs. You can now also set the number of circle subdivisions via a new handle (hold shift for doubling/halving). I've also added a Magnetic Ticks option to the Ellipse ruler, as well as a Radial Only box mode option. If VP4 isn't set, the perspective ruler's current center position will be used to choose one.
In cases where there are many solutions, an optimal solution will now be found by first setting VP4 to the diagonal of VP1/VP2. This update adds improvements to the perspective match algorithm. Perspective Match Upgrade December 23, 2021
